Been tasting the corporate life... Cant say I dont like it.... Waking up to the cold morning = not fun... Been paying alot of attention to the well dressed and not-so well dressed attires.. Heres what I learned...
1. The tie must sit just at the belt buckle... some have it too long which looks like its dangling over their dicks.. or too short - which looks like its sitting on their potbelly... 2. Always wear a belt and refer to no.1 3. Length of the slacks must sit just before the floor... having it too short looks like uve out grown ur pants + when you sit.. it goes all the way up and exposes them hairy legs... ugly sight... .. having it too long on the other hand just looks shabby... 4. Men should not wear anklet socks to work... (Im guilty of this.. but my pants arent too short to expose them) 5. The combo of no.3 and no.4 will NEVER land you a job!! (if exposed) 6. Women must NEVER wear sports shoes with their work attire... omG.. it looks so shitty... for heaven's sake please invest in a comfortable pair of heels... 7. The tie must NEVER be the same colour as the shirt... who wears a red shirt and a red tie??! I understand now why women and gays say men dont have any sense in fashion... 8. Try having 2-3 sets of suits... Dont wear the same one to work everyday... 9. Cufflings are a yes yes ... but not a must 10. In case you were wondering... one must have a shirt with french-sleeves to wear them cufflings... please dont wear cuffs with a normal shirt by turning the buttons inside out... french sleeves are 2'5 inches thick.. normal shirts are 2'.. 11. Nothing looks worse than a nice suite with unpolished shoes... 12. Please wear different ties with different shirts.... 13. I hate blue shirts.... 14. I hate pink ties... 15. I hate blue shirt with pink ties (You cannot believe how many idiots put on this combo!!) 16. Zip up jackets look way less better than buttoned jackets... 17. Black patterned stockings are the in-things at the moment... please dont wear them to work... 18. Always tie a full windsor... 4-in hands are for casual outings... and half windsors are for lazy losers... 19. Silk tie - ALWAYS use a full windsor.. 20. Handkerchiefs are for chilvary.. (Ive seen how this works.. was really impressed.. but I dont carry one) 21. Have at least 7/8 work shirts.. that way.. you can shuffle Mon-next Wed.. 22. Wear a watch 23. Carry a Parker pen (or at least one that is metal - dont bring a plastic one around) 24. Men should never wear white socks to work... 25. Comb your hair!
Yawns... sleep time... Work calls again tomorrow...

2Months d... wow.... Time really passes quickly when ur havin fun... Have to admit.. these past 2 months; undoubtedly the best "holiday-with-responsibilities" Ive EVER had.... how am I gona ever 1-up this moment in my life - get a job here.. which allows me to travel around the world.. yea that will definitely 1-up it.... hahaha!!!
Special thanks first and foremost to my stupid snoring cousin (he lost tonight's bet.. so hes sleepin on the floor); Thanks to his place... I have a roof over my head... **Kicks Sherman - he snoring so damn loudly** It was great having Sherman's company for the past month... hahaha.... reminds me greatly of the days I used to live in Gold Coast.... (sigh) Next up to the buddies Derek & Lene... for the great company, the great sleep overs, the great chats and the great company (again)... without you guys.. this place could end up pretty boring... Brisbane has really become a 2nd home... and a bane... I really do want to come back.. but at the same time.. Im afraid of being complacent with this place.... how ah? My dreams of travelling the world.... might come to a halt.. If I decide to come back here... how ah... Scaredlar..
Back in Adelaide in a couple of days; dont know what Im feeling... I dont feel anxious, I dont feel regret, I dont feel heavy..... hmmm... Lookin on the bright things... there are things I am looking forward to when I get back... For starters... Rachel owes me my bed.. wahahahahaha!!!! =D Oh wells..... I was half-way through my meal when she started... bout 5 minutes later.. she got up and walked away... she had finished her meal... and I was left contemplating whether I still had the appetite to stomach mine... She just kept stuffing food into her mouth.... I felt she was chewing, stuffing, and swallowing at the same time - fork spoon mouth action yo...
Oh.. I forgot to mention she was also busily downing her coke at the same time... I tried not to stare... I really did try.....
In the end.... I abandoned my meal for a mcflurry ice cream...
I see where I am now, & I see where I am to go, I also notice what I can become & what I can achieve, Now... Am I willing to trade it all that away for to really start living?
I have officially entered the workforce - on a non-paid basis... I can see my future all laid out in front of me, the many roads of success I can take; numerous I know once I begin this journey, I will fly and soar beyond imagination - my only fear; I cannot stop to realize the life I will be missing itself... I will be so caught up in the throes of working, ambition, success and power that I can foresee myself neglecting everything else that is important to me... Its not that I wont have balance, its more like I cant have the best of both worlds - it is one or the other...
I am not sure I like the me I see.... Because I am not yet submerged into the whole life, I am still able to view things from a different perspective... I feel that I have grown so much in these past five weeks.... What I learned in this short period of time; living on my own, working and fending for my project; the environment has really taught me heaps.. On the road of searching for myself, I have found what I am to become - I can tell you now that I dont think I like him too much..
Back to my question; Am I willing to throw what I know I will have if I continue down this road - the power, authority, success, wealth; trade it all in for something else?
